Yeah I understand what you mean about the greys, i've only got 803's but yeah I havn't had the mixture checked in a while and I do occasionally get a puff of black smoke when I back off. The stem seals are brand new, so I guess it must be running a little rich. Would play in the turbo shaft cause the turbo to use more oil than normal?

I have found oil in the turbo air inlet pipe and thought that maybe the breather system that was already on the car, (which consisted of a separator and 3 pipes, one of which went into a K&N filter) might of had something to do with the excess oil consumption. What does anyone think?

I can get about 300 miles out of a tank, but most of the time about 200. I havn't had the mixture checked since my stage 3. I'm just about to fit a Group A K&N cone and Spec-R breather system, hoping that this will rectify the problem.
