right tried connecting a different module, all lights up now, the only problem is that the 5 lights across the top - ecu, fuel, water etc dont light up - apart from the ecu light which now stays on for some reason, switched the connectors back to my old module and the original problem is still the same with nothing lighting up. I have had the ECU out during the course of me trying to fix it - i have made sure the ECU is plugged back up but still the light stays on, the car runs as normal. Is it possible that i have 2 faulty modules. 15% of one of them seems to work and about 75% of the other one works. any help !!!
