The clamps be be changed easy enough, the best way though is to take the leads off, and get a auto electrical place to crimp them and solder on, just as a bit more secure that way when soldered.
In the past I have simply put on the round clamps inserted the main cable and secured with the two screws provided, and it's worked perfectly well, another option is to put a long bolt through the bit where the cable would go in the clamp and bolt up through here using a couple of washers at each end.
