I do it, well i did until last week anyway when i sold my WR. I dont know your area but you can ask your local council and they should be able to supply you with maps or at least point you in the right direction. Basically, you can go on anywhere signed up as a 'byway'. Providing its not a restricted byway in which case it should be signed up as such. Make sure you carry a good basic tool kit and spares with you if your going in the middle of nowhere, and obviosuly make sure your with someone else and not on your own ideally.
