Hi Spikey

I know your not, we still have issues with the bias brake box, and we also have stuttering issues through the corners with the current engine

The plan is to sort out the bias box once and for all with some proper decent brakes on the front, also we wont be having the issues through the corners.

The problem with the set up as we were on carbs was we couldnt get the fueling perfect from 2000rpm to 7000rpm, we always had a comprimise on part throttle causing us issues when not flat

We are not chasing seconds as such but we know there is at least 3-4 seconds in braking and hesitation under part load

We need to do a full engine build as the goon was getting smoking as we have had it so long

We want to go to injection and on the O series it means custom manifolds, the other issue is head, the exhaust manifold and inlet are on the same side of the head

The T16 are cheap, in fact we just bought a whole 620 turbo for £90 for the donor engine, the rest of it is the same as we would do to the O series so no major cost increase

We just need a .63 housing as we also now have a roller core, so instead of just rebuilding it 270bhp, thought might as well just go 400bhp.

It wont cost much more, infact, due to not having to completly start fresh manifolds and adapting T series ones it may work out cheaper.

We have pushed the O series more than most, everything else is trial and development, with the T series all thats been done

There are guys running 521bhp on GT35s with no issues on a proper built engine

Be an animal wouldnt though spikey
