They are not that good on the fuel.
Did you clean the MAF with carb cleaner ?, did you reset the KAM by pulling fuse for a few minutes ?
Check co, to ensure lambda ok, and put a new fuel filter on.
A problem with K&N's is the oil they and others of that type use is the oil contaminates the hot wires of the maf, so need cleaning regular.
