Hi all well im new here I did not see a introduce yourelf thread so I guess this is a good a place than any to say hi from Finland(English by the way just got a Finnish wife )).

Anyway I never thought about Ford Escorts much and was actually going to buy god forbid a french car that I shall not name anyway its a long story and ended up buying this which belonged to my wifes mum since 1988.

I have not looked back since...it is an amazing little car even for a 1.3 it sure is nippy, I can feel every bit of the road and I love the sound albeit that rather annoying fluttering sound(is it normal for these ovh engines). Its been well looked after and no major rust anywhere. oh I nearly forgot I posted in here because I could not find a laser section sorry (or is it just the euro equivalent of bonus or popular).
