Yeah as said, it'd be worth looking into a bigger engine if you're going to go to all that trouble, although a 1.25 is a nippy engine in a Fiesta (not fast by any means) it probably wouldn't be that much of an upgrade from a 1.1 in an Escort.

They are good engines though, so not trying to discourage you if that makes more sense financially.
