I had the same on the saff and 15's moved around a bit too much and spun up all the time 17's were better than 15's but cheaper than 16" tyres

I'm hoping for 8x17's to be the best compromise.
Yes it is and more weight and the worse it will be, what is the weight of the wheel without tyre, Most Evo wheels we find are about 8kg.
