From a camcorder? I can't seen to get movie maker or Pinnacle to recognise my camcorder (Sony DCR-HC85e).

A quick Google reveals hundreds of different threads on different forums, but no one seems to have a solution. Not just Sony cams, but any make. Anyone on here know anything?
