The easiest way to do this is to bolt the diff onto the engine then lower the engine into the engine bay and raise the cross member into position and bolt it all up. You can fit the steering rack afterwards with all the bits in place.

If it's not going on easily, you must be using the wrong engine mounts.

hi, i have changed the mounting brackets for what i was told where xr4x4 brackets. i can get the crossmember to fit but it gets in the way of where the diff should be and it pushes up against the sump. i am using uprated poly engine mounts but they look the same as origional mounts. it looks like if the brackets where 1 inch closer to the front of the engine then it would all fit. is there any chance any1 can cross reference all the following part numbers just to make sure ive got the right parts;

crossmember = V90BB-5019-AC

xr4x4 engine mount brackets = 83TF 6031 AA and 83TF6030 CA

xr4x4 sump = 15 5550 90/2295
