A couple of weeks ago I began the hunt for a Mondeo under £500 to replace the clapped out Clio my other half had... the hunt over the weekend gave me a right headache as everything we looked at was absolutely knacked!! I decided to increase my range up to £1k on Autotrader to include those cars up to £600. I found a Mondeo 1.8 Zetec on an X plate with 75k on it for £590.... couldn't believe my luck when he still had it on the Monday morning. We went to look at a couple more on the way but ended up with this one - it needs a little tidying on one arch and needed a pair of front tyres as one of them was an odd size, so there is the odd bargain out there, they are just few and far between. I reckon with the arch done and other little odds and sods this car would be worth £1200 all day long, probably more.
