so this pipe / hose im on about has been messed with due to the moosing effect? we've had both plugs out either end, one end pulling air in, the other doing nothing - couldnt even trace where this end went, it looked to go into the cabin just under the dash?!

Im gonna source a new MAF, and fit it, see what happens.

Also the Air box has been drilled everywhere! looks like swiss cheese! maybe this is not helping, as in crap getting in and contaminating the MAF, but not 100% sure. the previous owner had fitted a K&N panel filter which looks brand new, and my mate suggested that when they are new they are very oily, and that may have contaminated the sensor.
