yeah i tried giving it a technical tap while the engine was running, nothing happened, tried disconnecting the plug to it and nothing happened then either.

My mate has a diagnostic tool, and it came up with MAF inlet low. Took it to bits and gave it a blast with the contact cleaner spray, but it hasn't made much difference.

Tried running the car with the MAF disconnected and it ran well low at idle (800rpm) but i didnt get the kangaroo effect whilst giving it full throttle, as before. How much for a new MAF, by the time i got this far it was 5pm and everywhere was shut. I'm led to believe its a different size to the ST24 and ST220?

wrt Moosing, is there a pipe that you cut in half? i've also found that there is 2 hoses, looks like something is missing underneath the throttle control perhaps a box or a section of hose / pipe thats been cut out and plugged (with blutac beleive it or not) at either end.

Cheers for the help by the way!!
