It's my first time here so hello!

I have a '04 ST and my engine warning light has come on I have a 16 pin fault code reader BUT can't find the plug to connect it to. I do apologise if this is an elementary oversight but I've looked underneath the steering wheel and foot well but can't see it anywhere. Where is it?
