It's not quite that simple. The CVH has a cast iron block and Alloy head. The reason for stretch bolts is to deal with the differential in materials and the way they heat up and cool down.

I began to have problems with the head lifting at 350bhp on the old set-up, but until then, they were and still are fine (although at this moment, I'm only running 320bhp).
