If you are going to do that you might just as well get an intercooler, if the pre -rad was to be made to look like an intercooler you would need to use an intercooler core..you would also need to change the fan for something slimmer so we could fit the big cooler in.
The next thing you would need to change after the pre-rad would be the water tank-making it bigger.
