evening all,

bought my st200 this morning, and little bit worried.

it was serviced 5k miles ago, got the proof, and is due MOT Nov.

whilst pulling up to junction, dipping the clutch just before stopping, the revs climb to 2300 and sit there until i bring it up to bite (then drops back to normal idle of 1500) and cant figure out why. Aint done any of the filters yet, but seems to be running very warm (not sure exactly how warm it should be) but engine temp, fans etc all seem to be working.
No ticking noises, or any indication on the filler cap of HG failure.

Anyone help???
