with a spercharger you should lower comression too, but you don't need to.
you get more torque and higher bhp for a given boost pressure on a higher compression ratio engine.
you'd easily be able to run 7 or 8 psi without doing anything to the engine whether turbo or SC. as for management, then megasquirt it.
bit of fabrication you'd see good power for less than £600-700
