hi dose any one know how i can run my playstation 3 through my surround sound system, if its any help the suround is a lg one with 5 speakers and sub,

i have the ps3 linked with a hdmi to the tv and when i turn the suround on i only get the sound out of the front speakers but no sound out of the rear ones

any help would be great
