I will have XR4i ones which should be the same.

They will need a wash, though as they've been in the shed for ages.

When I did mine I pulled the material out and stuck a safety pin through to stop it retracting, then washed in warm soapy water, rinsed in fresh clean water and left to dry naturally. Good as new.
