I am looking for advice here for my YB Cossie engine. I have new Siemens DEKA injectors, new Motorsport dev. chip, new Ford 071 plugs, new cab and rotor, new HT wires etc but old ignition coil. I am not sure the one I have in the car is okay, but I am having some problems and am now trying to eliminate all possibilities.
Now it is the ignition coil turn. The engine starts, but I am not sure I am getting all the voltage on high rev. What do you guys recommend? How can I test the old coil?
If I go for a new one, what and where to buy?
I found new coil from Standard (Blue Streak) FD478X and should be good for 30.000-42.000 V. anybody knows this one? Is it okay for me to use?
