ok everything before the MAIN pump will dictate the size of hoses you need to it.

SO swirl pot size, efficiency of lift pump and the size of the outled on the main tank.

basically the swirl pot has to be able to keep the supply of fuel constant in relation to what the engine will use flat out. So its going to depend on the size of your siwrl pot for a start.

I reckon a -10 should be fine for the fuel system you need anyway.
