If I had to buy new, I would not buy greys as they are no longer made, and bosch has only 600 injectors left(greys), so will all the spares dry up in a few years ?
Of course any presently made injector if having to buy as opposed to being given free has got to be a better bet.
If I was using someone who shied away from doing something like this, you'd hear the door shut as I left.
I have a soft map for bad conditions, which is around 200bhp, but copes perfect on greys.
I regularly do 6-8 hours of city work not over 1500rpm, doesn't miss a beat ever, the bottom end delivery is defo better on greys than dark greens.
I'm running mine with resistors, but didn't to start with, as I forgot!!
Amazingly the ecu coped perfectly, but as higher sustained loads the injectors were overheating and shutting down.
Still whilst trying to find this elusive problem I replaced the fuel tank, pump, fpr, etc, so have a few good spares now!!
It was only by chance I found a note I'd written about Roosie owing me 4 resistors that I remembered, and he still hasn't paid for them, tight git that he is!!
