When I used to go out for curries, it was a lamb phaal...
Not for the heat, but for the aftertaste..Phaals are hot curries, but not really if you are used to them .. If I went out for curry after a night out from work and ordered a "phaal", it seemed as tho I was "hard" or "wouldnt eat it"
People were amazed when I did finish it, and also got them to try it..
Its what you are used to .. There are children in other countries that eat scotch bonnet peppers at 8yrs of age as part of their diet
