Well this is just the next stage from the SLR cell which was obviously carbon fibre aswell and alot more advanced taking into account the slr was launched in 2003/4?! been so long cant remember now
The car was actually being designed back in the early SLR days but unfortunatly got shelved back then.

The main thing that has changed the front end is the new bumper and the carbon, that wasnt there before and has transformed the look of the whole car!!!

Doing ths has been a long way off and with Ron at the reins 'should' make us into the ferrari/aston etc competitors that has been a long time coming.


and theres alot more things already in the pipeline waiting to go

Has definatly given alot of the staff there including me a big boost knowing Mclaren is going to grow as a company into something alot bigger!!!
