i did and had some fuckin annoying cockney chick phoning up asking for me, i thought it was a fan or advertising and then the fookers sent a letter threatening baliffs.
at that point i knew the dozy cow was ebay staff phoning up for the coin, why she didn't just say oy mate its ebay cough up or were comming for you,it was only say a tenner.

it makes you think though that if you sell somthing for a nice amount of money and they cough up ebays money you are well fucked.

i see it time and time again though, cash on collection. no fucking around with comebacks then if your brassed up in readies.

thats what i'll do in the future or ask for a cheque and wait until cleared.

so long as you can openly say no pay pal i'd rather do that.
The company you are talking about is called NCO. Despite their threats, they will never send anyone to collect anything.

eBay & Paypal are awful for sellers; they seem to have some very bizzare and unrealistic expectations, but I guess that's what you get with what is virtually a monopoly. Shame Google bottled out it and didn't carry on with Google Auctions, serious competition for eBay/Paypal is desperately needed.

If you actually read through the PayPal user agreement it asks that you waive statatory rights and also makes it impossible for a seller to comply with the polcies that are meant to protect them from buyer fraud.

Still if it makes you feel any better eBay/Paypal's profits were down $100 million in the last quarter!
