yes mate, you put your foot down and nothing, and then bang, it all comes in one big hit and ther eis loads of black smoke chucked out the back
it's normally the intercooler rubber pipes that split and ford have replacements that are more canvas than rubber which seem to have solved the problem, but the egr valves would throw the engine manegment light on everytime you gave it more than about half throttle and then it would go into limp home mode until you turned the engine off and restarted it again, then they've clear the fault and thigns ouwld be back to normal, until you gave it more than about half throttle again
and the engine mounts would play havoc with the whole thing, almost as if the bototm of the engine was about to fall out when you pulled away, and then you've have no power but no lights, almost as if the pedal wasn't connected
we've had these problems with the vito's we had with the fly bt wire throttle but when the vans have gone to ford they've always said that it was an engine mount that was cauisng the troulbes, but never explain more than that
