Yes microfibres are fine for buffing off.

Would be best to clean the pads once your finished, save yourself some money in future, just put them in a bucket of water with some washing up liquid and leave them overnight and rinse them afterwards. Or just rinse them straight after you have used them and just apply some washing up liquid onto pad and work it in, and rinse the pad under tap until clean, squeeze out water and allow to dry naturally.
