Took my A4 in a while ago to have the centre silencer removed to give it a more aggressive note. While under the car telling the bloke what I wanted I pointed out it would need a brace from the system to teh original hanger on teh o/s to prevent the system twisting. The guy said it wouldn't be needed and I shouldn't worry. Drove the car away and travelled a few miles only to find the system had indeed twisted on the flex round the 2 remaining hangers both on the n/s. Took the car back to be told the flex was knackered which was why it twisted. I replied this was bollocks and I told them from the outset it should have a bar to prevent the system twisting at the flexi. They put the brace on hurridly and I went on my way. Well today the system failed completely at the flexi.
Now stuck with paying out for a new system as the replacement pipes were all of a piss poor quality
