NOSRst, The info is about as acurate as it can be, given the motors age. All info is tracked through VIN's and take considerable time (weeks). The number of 2wd drive black sapph's is 55 mate. So its a rare monster, you just need to try and find one now-a-days to buy, you just cant! Ive got all the past 2 years "RS ralley news" issued by the RSOC and there has been about 4 black sapph's for sale in that time of which only 1 is a 2wd. But saying that, the RSOC say that ford never made a black saph cossie, but they did.
Phil, Schwartz black is listed under an optional colour for a sierra ( not cosworth though), the late 92 spec motors were called ebony black. Is yours defo not metalic? It was a special production car in 1992/93 along with the radient red 4wd's, but all were metallic. I own one and its defo metallic. If yours is not metallic, forward me the VIN and my old man can find out what the actual colour is... Just had a quick thought, if you go for touch up paint at halfords or somewhere like that, they will use the colour number stamped on the VIN, halfords dont call it ebony, they give it there own name, ebony paint is not available and needs to be mixed on site!
