I sent my licence off on the 6th of August to update it. Well sod's law a week later I have not recieved my licence back yet and I got a pull from the po po. I jump in the back of the car and go through the usual is it your car and do you have insurance rigmarole, show them my traders certificate and they are satisfied so far. Then one says "thats odd" and double checks my name and details and checks again. Apparently they had no info on me at all on the computers so couldnt tell if I have a licence or not. So I get a producer, HORT1, and Im back on my way.

I left it the full week till the last day and still no licence showed so off to the cop shop I went to explain. Told the, very sexy, policewoman behind the desk the story and explained I dont have my licence back yet etc and she was great about it. She made a note of it and told me to bring it back in as soon as I got it back.

Well come this week it still hadnt shown up so I decided to get in contact with the DVLA. I tried to phone them but all I got was automated shit and I spat my dummy out so Emailed instead. I told the story and explained it had been 2 weeks and police wanted to see it etc, how much longer would it take. Well they got back in contact with me today via email even though I left a contact number, saying that they can find no records for me on their system. I have re sent my full name, date of birth, address and driver number for them to double check again in case they mis read it.

If they come back again and still say no record then where do I stand, and what the fuck do I do?????
