Ive got a cracker!!
I was looking through the scot-ads paper one friday night and i see a fiesta mk2 xr2 for sale 700 quiod ono so i txt the guy asking if he would take a swap for a trials bike so the deals on we head through to a town about 20 miles from mine!! we have a look at the xr2 which has no mot or tax and the deals done!! its just after teatime in winter and its getting dark so i set off in the fiesta and my bird is behind me in her mk4 fiesta! we head to the next town for petrol and the headlights are getting dimmer all the time! i pull up turn off the motor,fill her up and jump in to fire her up but nothing! no dash lights nothing! so im sitting there in an old xr2 with no mot,no tax,no insurance and banned from driving (this was years ago when i was young and stupid btw) so i get out and ask a lad to give me a hand bump starting it and wtf the alarm starts going! so i pop the bonnet jump out and rip that fucker out as quick as poss! bang goes down the bonnet and im outta there as fast as that little rust bucket would take me!! so my birds in front with the headlights as mine are dimming all the time and all of a sudden i see lights behind me and freak out so im off like a shot! overtook my bird and luckily the moon was out that night lol fuck knows how i managed to drive in the dark with hardly any lamps!! so im getting chuft cos im just outside my town and bang the whole sky flashes and the car dies!! my exhaust fell off at the downpipe!!
At this point im thinking wtf am i gonna do now so i manage to push that piece of shit along the road a bit and down a side road! we jump in my birds fiesta and get the jump leads from my garage,head back to the fiesta,jump start it and let it tickover sounding like a tank for 5 mins than im off heading back into town with no exhaust on an xr2 with hardly any lights!
I get it to my garage eventually and thats my story of an absolute shit night.
Needless to say the fiesta was sold 1 week later thank god!!
lessons learned dont drive illegaly ever again lol
