Well at least think about bracing it like you say.
When building you always need to think in triangles for better strength.
Would be a shame to do all that work, have 2-3 nice expensive one off cars in there for it all to give way.
On the plus side, ive seen far worse stand the test of time.
Compare to most of the farm buildings round this way mate, its positively well made, I think most builders would have a heart attack if they wandered around this area looking at all the sheds and barns, I'll try and remember to get some pics of the right shonky old sheds Ive seen that are all older than me and still standing, people are talking like this is going to just fall down, and thats a nonsense, the walls of the hole we dug into the clay last winter didnt move even though they had 6 months of terrible weather, so they are certainly not going to move now that they have proper irrigation in the floor, and thats even if the blocks werent there at all, the blocks only purpose is to keep the roof up, I will let you know if they fail to do so but I really cant see it happening based on the buildings round here that stay up!
