Well im gonna say what i think as i usually do. Im sorry but its a disgrace. If someone puts a picture of their bodged up chavy cars on here folk pull them to bits for it, but yet some terrible building is going off on this thread and folk are saying ''looking good'', ''coming along nicely'', im sorry but it aint at all. Its a bodge job. Im suprised that someone who is so good a building cars cant put the same 'if a jobs worth doing, its worth doing right' effort into it. Nothing on the build is right. Sorry chip, but like i say, youd rip someone putting pics up of a bodged motor.
This is the equivalent of a cheap hack daily driver if you want to put it in car terms, so long as it works for a couple of years, its mission accomplished, we're not building it for any reason other than to quickly and cheaply have a space available to build our cars in, we dont have the time or money spare to do it "right" just for the sake of doing it right as it would be a waste of resources when its only for a couple of years use anyway, if it keeps most of the rain off our cars for those couple of years, then its good enough.
Not putting it up as an example of how to do things right etc anyway and you are quite welcome to make any comments you like mate, but i'll bump the thread in 2 years if its still standing and laugh at you if you say you think it wont be
Its cost me a grand for my half of the materials, thats less than a years rent on my old workshop and that had a leaky roof and was dusty as fuck, this will be FAR better than that, so to me was worth doing.
