this is something I've been wondering bout for at while, and now when I had to take the head of, I decided to take some pictures and ask the board

the thing is, that on the headgasket, that I've been using, the holes for the water, isent the same shape in the gasket as in the block... and this i STD RST engine

The gasket on the picture is a original ford gasket

anyone got some answers to this... my thought is, could this be why my car easy run hot??? and If u buy a GRP. A gasket, would this have another shaped around the waters holes??
