yeah I have the 50 pence style fitting for my steering wheelas I have a MK4 xr3i so there is no adjustment there. The garage didn't clamp my steering wheel in place. Plus I have 205/45/16 tyres so nice and wide.
As my car now runs straight and true (with hands off the steering wheel) provided I shorten and lengthen each side equally to get my steering wheel straight. Then both front wheels should be parallel (or toe in as the case may be)
I'm in Wigan, North West.
TurboShed - how do you measure your toe in (or out) at home?
