Fella's, a chap called Shahid Malik is the 'Communities Secretary'. Now, he has a very strange view on things, but this is the view of the Govt and hence your public services (police etc).

He reckons that " Fairness does not mean treating people equally, it means addressing the different needs of different people". So, make of that what you will. I have an opinion but not allowed to share it.
