well i think i will be going out and buying a soft bed to put in our room
the poor sod was up all night and had worked herself up into a bit of a state
its just human contact that she needs as she would sleep if she was with one of us
thanks for your advice tho chaps, guess what works for one dog might not work for all
You must be strong, its hard to ignore the whining though
Make sure it tired and dozing before putting it to bed (I found that once its in bed hang around for 5mins and sneek out quietly)
No food after 8pm as it will make the dog hyper
Get up at 3hr intervals and let it out, gradually increasing it to a full night over time
A teddy or blanket that you don't mind being chewed to provide comfort
Nearly all dog owners had the same issues to start with
