ok so i might be getting a bit defensive but you have brought me into this thread and one the other day ,im not on here telling everyone how to do it ,im more than happy with how mine drives and feels out on the road witch is more than you had to say about yours at the ford fair.
and yes so every one knows i didn't find it that hard to do BUT im a welder by trade.
i mean the box fits onto the engine ! the starter is easy extend two wires! the gear stick mounts in the exact same place as the escort/fiesta one and even uses 3 out the four bolt holes all ready in the floor pan! the hydraulic clutch is easy-er on the fiesta but still no big job on the escort,the mounts didn't take long to do and i welded up some shafts that you are most unhappy about them not snapping even tho ive killed it at the pod twice and ford fair 0-60 setting times that not manny people in the fwd ford scene can do.
