right we have just got out puppy and are having trouble getting her to sleep on her own

her bed is in the kitchen and as soon as we put her in there she just cries out until someone comes in
we have tried leaving her to see if she stops but she dont

we have been told to leave a radio on quietly in the back ground
this aint working either

we try laying with her until she goes to sleep, but as soon as she wakes she is back at the door whimpering and barking

she just wants to be in the same room as us

what did you guys do to get them to sleep on their own?

any tips
