Default 1.8D and TD wiring??

Hi i have a mk6 escort van 1.8d

i have got a rotten mk6 escort estate with a 1.8TD lump and box in it,

my van is 2001 and the car is a few years older, but the TD has an Air flow meter, air-con (pipes cut),

i want to use the air flow meter and everything from the TD exactly as it is, other than the air con. i know i have to remove the PAS pump, brackets and swap the PAS pump from my engine.

i have pulled all of the wiring loom out of the TD, and the ECU from the passengers footwell, but on the drivers side bulkhead under the bonet there is 3 plugs, black, grey and small one, my van has the same big black plug that does the engine bay loom, but it has 10 wires in it and the TD has 12.

does this mean that i hve to change these 3 plugs and all the wiring going to the fusebox aswell?

i know the exhaust is different i got that sorted,

the TD gearbox has a speedo cable and the van has electronic speedo with digital clocks, i dont really want to put the older clocks in so i will need to somehow wire that part of the van loom back into the other loom?

on the side of the heater box there is another 2 little boxes with plugs going to them, im guessing that these are for air con and i can just ignore them? there is a vacuum pipe going to one of them, and a metal strap running across the the back of the heater box, the van has none of this. i could do with a wiring diagram for both really if anyone has them i know its a long shot.

if anyone has done this conversion i would appreciate some help with these issues.

thanks
