Basically circumstances have changed and I am looking at replacing my 2007 Vectra 1.8 with something more economical.

The Vectra isn't that bad to be honest but I'm trying to save as much cash as possible from my monthly income without being too stingy

I need something thats still capable of my 50 mile daily commute which includes A roads and is also suitable for regular trips from Middlesbrough to Leeds.

Something around about the same age would be preferred but I know that is probably a long shot. I also absolutely hate small cars so it would have to be something mid size (i.e Focus) upwards.

Anybody any suggestions?
