you wont suffer heatsoak with a chargecooler when sat in traffic - they will keep ACT's lower than an intercooler. but once you have taken it for a blast the water will heat up and make cooling less efficient. next time you are stood in traffic the benefits of the chargecooler will go out the window due to heatsoak!

the water is kept cool by the radiator sat at the front of the car where the intercooler usually is. the water jacket on mine is just behind by the gearbox.the water is continuously pumped around this radiator and water jacket so why would it suffer heat soak? the cool air as you drive keeps the charge air inside the system cold so when you come to the next lights, you'll be just as cool as an i/c, if not cooler.the water in this system is not connected to the car's engine coolant in any way, it's a seperate system altogether.
