Hi all I have a second bottom end for my car, but the block has had a melted piston so going to need a rebore, I think the bore measures 81mm but i cant get a accurate measurment from just a ruler, but if I'am right and it is a 81mm bore im going to need to get atleast a 1mm taken out to clean the mess up for the melted piston, where can 82mm pistons be found and what sorta price am I looking at?
All the boring ect will be done at my work, but the machinist that will do the work knows nothing bout cvh's as he does block work to heavy deisel engines, He is sure he can do it, but i need to find the pistons and he'll bore the block to match them.
