put the ignition key in, but dont turn just yet, hold down trip button, whilst holding down trip button turn on ignition, after a round 5 secs or so , you should see TEST on the digital display, you can now cycle through the test and you will find one saying DTC, this will tell you the diagnostic code and hopefully tell you what the problem is.
