What are R888's (or similar) like in the wet? I'm quite keen to get a set as i'll only be using my car in the summer and on dry days very soon. But its the thought of getting caught out in the wet which is worrying me about buy some.

Are there any other tyres out there that offer similar amounts of grip that would be safer in wet conditions?
