right ive been invited to start going hiking with a mate as its meant to be a great way of getting fit and loosin some poundege
as were gonna do it with burgens on weighing 40kg

ive been told that because of some of the gradients we walk up and so on
that it will work my core which im guessing is my torso right?

so my questions are

1 is it worth going to the gym also or is that overkill for me?

2 would taking any supplements like protein or something be beneficial?
