Default CAR WAS RUNNING ON 3 CYINDERS

Hi all,

yet another question.

My car over the weekend decided it was going to kill a plug. Put another plug in and all was fine for a day. it has now killed another plug and when i pulled it out is was wet though with petrol. It runs fine on all the other cylinders but seems to be running wrong on this one. Done a compression test and found it to be about 125 psi on all the cylinders. what could be wrong. Could it be the metering unit on its way out? has anyone else had this problem? also noticed that when I pulled the plug out after a long run it appears to be running too rich as it is black and sooty but all the other cylinders and a nie brown colour.

Hope someone can help as its so close to being reliable now.

Cheers
Dave
