Hello

I need to connect a Smiths Tacho (that normally takes a pulse from a distributor type coil) to my Zetec with the standard EEC-IV ecu. There is a wire from the ECU for the tacho, will this drive the Smiths tacho ? I don't know if it is the right voltage or polarity
